Organon Art Cie continuously collects testimonials from its direct entourage to develop a theme that speaks about the world, connecting the local and the global and helping to enrich the resources that form the basis for its performances. The collection process takes the form of workshops focusing on visual arts, theatre, singing, creative writing, etc. The creative process is supported by a team of researchers and specialists in the chosen subject, who document the work in progress and ensure the coherence of the creations and “auto-fictions” with respect to the reference corpus.
In 2020 and 2021, the company premiered Les Suppliantes, a rewriting of Aeschylus that encouraged local residents to question and put into perspective geopolitics, the situation of undocumented immigrants in France, and the right to asylum since Antiquity.
With the Mère(s) project, Organon Art Cie asked participants to spend two and a half years preparing a creative work focusing on the perspective of a social project based on the notion of care.
